Microelectronics and Applied Physics

The Department of Microelectronics and Applied Physics (MAP) is located in
Kista outside of Stockholm. Our research covers basic condensed matter and materials
physics; semiconductor physics, materials and devices; optics, photonics and
quantum physics. We provide undergraduate and graduate education in all these
areas, as well as some basic physics and electronics courses. MAP is one of
the two departments formerly known as IMIT.
