About Optical Networks Lab (ONLab)

The Optical Networks Lab (ONLab) was established in January 2012 as a part of Communication Systems (CoS) Research unit in the School of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) of the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Kista, Sweden.

Previously ONLab was known as the Next Generation Optical Networks (NEGONET) group (active since 2006) that was as a part of the Photonics and Microwave Engineering (FMI) Laboratory in the ICT School of KTH in Kista, Sweden.

Situated in the heart of Kista Science city, one of the world's leading business districts for Information and Communication Technology, the ONLab group mission is to conducting collaborative research in the field of optical networking.

Please note that ONLab web pages are currently being updated, as the NEGONET group was promoted to the ONLab in the KTH organization. Research and educational activities of ONLab does not change significantly from those performend by NEGONET group earlier.
